Description

Our used MSD ignition boxes come from several top teams in NASCAR and still have some life left in them. All boxes are removed from racing rotation based on mileage and all have been checked to make sure they work properly.

Multiple spark, capacitive discharge ignition control
Designed for professional racing applications that demand high rpm for long periods of time
Clear epoxy potting compound for vibration protection and clear base plate for easy tech inspection
Special 4-pin connector to plug directly into the MSD Soft Touch Rev Control PN 8738 or Soft Touch Engine Control PN 8968
Multiple sparks for 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation
Accepts breaker points, amplifier and magnetic pickup trigger inputs
550 primary voltage output to coil
150 millijoules per spark up to 15,000 RPM
Works on 12 - 18 volt electrical system
Built-in reverse polarity protection circuit
Must be used with HVC Coil PN 8250
No programming loops
Supplied with rubber shock mounts
No CARB Exemption Order Number
