Remember, big ports and valves are very attractive and will make more horsepower but it may be in a different rpm range from where you are going to operate your engine. When using the Yates D3 heads you have the option depending on cam lift and spring pressures as to which rocker assembly you can run. If you are going to use springs with less than 240# of seat pressure and less than 700# open pressure, you can use the Jesel Sportsman Series.
- Jesel Sportsman Series Rocker Assembly 1.7:1 Ratio or
- Jesel Sportsman Series Rocker Assembly 1.8:1 Ratio or
- Jesel Sportsman Series Rocker Assembly 1.9:1 Ratio
If you are using spring pressures over 240# of seat pressure and over 700# open pressure you are better off using the Jesel J2K series rockers with the Yates rocker stand assembly.
