Terry Bren and the now famous Twisted Cheeto is in the process of dialing in the 88 Mustang notch back drag car. The 358 cubic inch solid roller cam engine was installed just a couple of weeks ago and the first shake down was this past Thursday at Mooresville Dragway in Mooresville, NC. Testing on the 1/8 mile track was very productive in finding out how the engine/transmission and chassis combination would perform together. After four runs, Terry ran a best 6.40 at 108mph and the car was all over the place in first and second gear. In fact the car pulled so bad to the left that Terry took out the cones at the far end of the track. Terry will be working out the bugs over the next couple of days before running Thursday night at Darlington Speedway for the Mustang Week track event. Roush Yates will be on hand to lend a hand to Terry in support of his efforts with the new combination. Look for us all at the event and see what this car is capable of doing in the 1/4 mile.
Here is a Picture of Terry running the car at Pinks earlier this year with the Boss 302

We will have more photos and video posted in the coming weeks as we complete Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach July 24th.
