May 9, 2011 - Roush Yates Powers Sprint, Drag, and Dirt Racing Wins

Roush Yates experienced a weekend full of wins with their grassroots racing engines built and serviced at Roush Yates’ Performance Engine Group division. Johnny Bridges, Jeff Swindell and Mitch Runge brought home Sprint Car victories with Roush Yates power, Brian Williams won his first ever Big Dog trophy at Piedmont Dragway, and Rick Eckert earned his first win of the season in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. April 23, 2011 - Edwards Scores Nashville Win with Roush Yates Power

During a well-deserved off weekend for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Roush Fenway's Carl Edwards donned his Fastenal driver's suit and drove the No. 60 Ford. Drive One. Mustang to victory for the first time since 2007, winning Saturday's Nashville 300 Nationwide Series race with Roush Yates Ford FR9 power. Full Story


April 18, 2011 - Roush Yates Generates Sprint Car Success
Roush Yates won a frenzy of Sprint Car races across the globe this weekend with their powerful Ford 360 and 410 engines. Jeff Swindell went to Victory Lane for the first time in only two starts with Roush Yates' newest Sprint 360 engine and David Prolio claimed the Sprint Car Gold Cup with his Sprint 410 engine in Australia. April 15, 2011 - New Engine Restores Ford Power

The past few years haven't been enjoyable for fans of Ford race cars. It was bad enough that Chevrolet had been beating them like a flat tire flopping inside a fender at 180 mph. But it was utterly insulting when Toyota invaded NASCAR four years ago and pushed Fords further back in the pack. Chevy fans have long enjoyed using Ford as an acronym for "Fix or Repair Daily." April 10, 2011 - Roush Yates Engines Enjoy Winning Performance at Texas, Indiana
Call it a "Texas tornado" sweep for Roush Yates Engines as Carl Edwards (NASCAR Nationwide Series) and Matt Kenseth (Sprint Cup Series) won on Friday and Saturday night, respectively, with Roush Yates Ford FR9 power.  As Kenseth claimed victory in last night's Samsung 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway, dirt dominator Scott Bloomquist won his 506th career Late Model Dirt feature in the Lucas Oil Series' Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown (IN) Speedway.  The 2010 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series champion campaigns Roush Yates power.

April 8, 2011 - Roush Yates' Ford FR9 Engines Sweep Texas Front Row
Roush Yates Engines, for the second time in 2011, took Roush Fenway entries to the No. 1 and No. 2 starting positions during today's qualifications at the Texas Motor Speedway near Ft. Worth. Roush Fenway drivers David Ragan and Carl Edwards will lead the field in the track's first Sprint Cup event to start under the lights - Saturday evening's Samsung 500.

April 6, 2011 - Roush Yates Performance Products Hires Gene Jones as NASCAR Technical Sales
Roush Yates Engines is expanding once more with the addition of Gene Jones to their Performance Products department.  Jones will bring Roush Yates Performance Products, a division of Roush Yates Engines, a valued sales outlet for all new parts to NASCAR teams as well as dirt and asphalt racing teams. April 4, 2011 - Bloomquist Wins in Texas
Scott Bloomquist won the first ever Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series race in Texas on Saturday night at Lonestar Speedway. After starting tenth, Bloomquist drove his Roush Yates powered Ford engine to the front with nine laps to go and never looked back. This is his second win of the year with Roush Yates Engines in the Lucas Oil series. Full Story

March 28, 2011 - TRG Motorsports Switches to Roush Yates Engines

Roush Yates Engines announced on Monday the newest team to drive their Ford FR9 motors, TRG Motorsports. TRG Motorsports has fielded Chevrolets for the past three years but will begin running Ford FR9 engines from Roush Yates and Ford Fusions from Roush Fenway Racing at Texas Motor Speedway on April 9, 2011. March 23, 2011 - Ford FR9 Takes Nationwide Series by Storm
The Ford FR9 engine has made a lot of noise in the Nationwide Series this year and teams are beginning to notice. J.R. Fitzgerald and Baker Curb Racing will be switching over to a Roush Yates FR9 powered Mustang this weekend as they head to Fontana for the Royal Purple 300 at Auto Club Speedway.  Full Release

March 18, 2011 - Roush Yates Engines Earn Front Row at Bristol Qualifying

March 6, 2011 - Ford Beats the Odds in Las Vegas
Carl Edwards drove his #99 Scotts EZ Seed Ford Fusion to Victory Lane on Sunday, capturing the second win for Roush Yates’ FR9 engine in only three races.  Ford cars were the fastest on the track all weekend long.  After posting a 1-2-3-4 qualifying effort, Roush Yates Engines and Ford Racing were thrilled to come home with the win. February 22, 2011 - Engine Powers Wood Brothers to Special Award
Strong, reliable horsepower gave 20-year-old sensation Trevor Bayne the momentum he needed Sunday to capture his historic Daytona 500 victory, picking up a victory for the fabled Wood Brothers and a MAHLE Clevite Engine Builder of the Race contingency award for Roush Yates Engines in the 53rd running of the Daytona 500. February 21, 2011 - Scott Bloomquist Sweeps World of Outlaws

Scott Bloomquist held off Brady Smith on Saturday night to capture his second World of Outlaws Late Model Series win in just as many races. Bloomquist, in his second season of running Roush Yates engines, actually became the first professional motorsports winner in Florida this weekend, even prior to Trevor Bayne (Daytona 500 winner also powered by Roush Yates Engines). February 21, 2011 - Roush Yates Engines Tops at Daytona 500

Roush Yates Ford FR9 engines continued their awesome exhibition of engineering and power as three different NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing teams swept the top three finishing positions in Sunday's 53rd running of the Daytona 500.  In an oddity of new combining with old, the oldest racing team in the garage, the legendary Wood Brothers No. 21, produced the youngest winner in the history of the 500-mile event as youngster Trevor Bayne - who turned 20 the day before - brought a Roush Yates engine to a frenzied victory lane. February 18, 2011 - Bloomquist Wins World of Outlaws Opener with Roush Yates Ford
Scott Bloomquist brought raw power and a little luck to the World of Outlaw season opener at Volusia Speedway Park on Thursday night, passing two-time defending series champion Josh Richards for the win.  Richards’ jumped the cushion with 9 laps to go in the 50-lap A Main, allowing Bloomquist to pass him and never look back. January 12, 2011 - Roush Yates Engine Breaks Unofficial DP Record at Daytona

The Rolex 24 at Daytona is the Grand-AM Rolex Sports Car Series’ opener set for Jan. 29-30 at Daytona International Speedway.  The “World Center of Racing’s” all-new pavement, combined with the largest number of Roush Yates engines in the event’s premier class, including an entry that set an unofficial track record during testing,  are sure to make this year’s race the most exciting ever.

December 20, 2010 - Johnny Bridges Wins Charity Sprint 360 Engine

Roush Yates Engines would like to congratulate Johnny Bridges of Cherryville, NC for becoming the proud owner of a new Roush Yates Sprint 360 engine.  The engine was raffled off at the recent International Motorsports Industry Show in Indianapolis, IN and all proceeds were given to Davidson Day School out of Davidson, NC.

November 22, 2010 - Edwards Ends 2010 with a Win!

November 15, 2010 - Edwards Sweeps Weekend, Wins with FR9 Engine
Carl Edwards’ Ford Fusion has been on an impressive winning streak, earning front row starting positions and capturing the win in the last two Nationwide Series races.  Edward’s also qualified on the pole during this week’s Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway and swept the weekend by winning the Kobalt Tools 500.

September 27, 2010 - Bloomquist Earns 500th Career Win with Power from Roush Yates Engines

Scott Bloomquist drove his Roush Yates powered Dirt Late Model engine to Victory Lane at Brownstown Speedway on Saturday night, capturing the 500th feature win of his career. Bloomquist took home $20,000 for his third win in the 31st Annual Jackson 100. This is the defending Lucas Oil Champion and current series point leader’s eighth win of the season.

September 22, 2010 - Roush Yates Wins with New Sprint 410 Engine
Roush Yates’ new Sprint 410 engine found Victory Lane after just four races with the help of sprint car driver Bobby East. East surprised everyone on Saturday, September 11, by capturing his first ever MustSeeRacing.com Biobased-USA Xtreme Sprint Series victory at Dells Raceway Park. Before this weekend, East had never raced in a winged sprint car, but with the help of Roush Yates’ newest power plant he was able to hold off the field and acquire the win.

September 13, 2010 - Ford Drivers Makeup 1/4th of the Chase for the Championship
On Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway three Ford drivers raced their way into the Chase, earning 25% of the 12 spots that makeup the 10-race “playoff” that will determine the 2010 Sprint Cup Champion.  Roush Fenway drivers Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, and Greg Biffle will be competing against some of NASCAR’s top teams starting in New Hampshire next weekend.

September 9, 2010 - Ricky Johnson Wins TORC Championship with Roush Yates Engine
The 2010 Traxxas TORC Series Presented by AMSOIL season ended last weekend with Ricky Johnson being crowned as the PRO 2WD Champion. Both Johnson and Red Bull teammate Steve Barlow had very successful seasons driving their Roush Yates powered Fords for Barlow Motorsports this year.
